UPDATE 2: Evidently I may have jumped the gun by saying they were go to use the name again. This is what I get for posting information that I got fourth or fifth-hand.
UPDATE: Apparently knitters = big into letter writing. The USOC has apologized, and Ravelry is free to once more use the term “Ravelympics.” Hopefully they won’t mind if our little bit of satire stays up We’ll have the next haiku strip up later today, and we can all get back to what’s important: making cool stuff!
