Now that is my kind of Batman story! ;D
Haha! Batman knitting… it doesn’t get more awesome than that.
I actually found a panel from a comic of Superman knitting on Tumblr. Might have to find it again and post it on the blog. Or include it as an obscure reference for next week’s strip.
But, as a Batman fan, Batman knitting is more awesome. My Superman loving Husband might disagree…
I’m with you, Batman is way more awesome, especially with some knitting needles in his hands.
It’s also on Superdickery someplace. (He actually states he has ‘super-knitting skills’.)
Don’t you mean, ‘The Dark Knit’?
This is the greatest! I’m going to be giggling all night. And I also thought it should be “The Dark Knit”… but this works too
Hee! We actually had that planned for the next one. XD
So his utility belt probably has stitch markers, yarn needles, etc?
Absolutely. Batman is always prepared for anything. The notions pouch is right next to the pouch his skein of yarn is fed through. XP
Hey, he’s an active guy, probably has trouble sitting still. Knitting on stakeouts totally makes sense.
(And I’m linking this one to all my Bat-friends!)
I know it wouldn’t fit for this comic, but if he’s on a stakeout and trying not to be spotted, he’d probably be knitting something dark, to blend in. Yes, I know, knitting something dark in a dark environment is darn near impossible for most of us; that just shows how incredibly awesome he is.
Yeah, pretty much any question about the logistics of the situation can be answered with: “He’s Batman.”
lol! True. I thought about making the knitting more stealthy, but it helps with story clarity if it stands out. XP To be fair, Batman also has a sidekick who wears red and green with a yellow-lined black cape. Damian Wayne(or Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake. Lot’s of Robins!) must be quite the little ninja to be capable of stealth in THAT!
