This comic has a lot of new meaning for me, as a Coloradan, after the horrific event at the Batman premier in Aurora. I enjoy this comic, but this one today makes me sad
That’s absolutely fair. I hope everyone realizes that Josh and I meant no disrespect with today’s comic. It was posted before we had even heard the news this morning and I had serious thoughts about taking the strip down afterwards. My thought’s and prayers go out to the victims and loved ones of those effected by the tragedy in Aurora.
I also want to encourage anyone who can to go give blood this weekend at the Red Cross. You never know whose life it might save.
“Yeah, I’ve never worked with lace-weight before and it’s a fun challenge.”
I don’t know if this was done intentionally, but I LOVE that this quote is bolded like his previous statement. In my head I hear him saying this in a very dark, serious and intense tone and that makes me laugh.
Awesome! I love the little details like that in this comic.
Also, thanks for the reminder to give blood! I haven’t heard any of the latest news on those in the hospitals, but giving blood is a nice little way to help out.
This is giving me such a chuckle!
After Wednesday’s I didn’t think it could get any better! Sometimes it’s not so bad being wrong

The bold text in the last panel was totally intended!
I’m glad you liked it!
